Personally this is a super app. Its torally free!! I dont know why you guys are saying its not it actually is. this is by far the best "msn" type app i recommend it ! Thumbs Up!! =D download it!!!
I must say that this is great apps. It is the most popular soft in Poland as I`m aware. Individuals, Businesses and on Polish auctions, everyone use GG.
Downsize this is not 100% "FREE" , only one week. After that, you have to go to website in Polish and register, prepaid your GG account and from there you can subscribe for "Mobilne Gadu-Gadu". It takes a while to activate. Overall, great app. If you have Polish friends it is worth afford to go through procedure. Good thing is that in addition to Wi-Fi it works also on 3G Network overseas.
UPDATE April 22nd,2010: New version came up with Push Notification which doesnt work anyway. When GG is closed so the Push. Where is sense? Hello! Support, fix it pls
Some bad moments
This app is cool, but it has lack of few functionalities. I wrote about it to the GG equipe.
Its much better than palringo. But there is a one bug which have to be repair. iPod dont recognize GG as an application which uses internet, and after about 20 or 30 minutes of using GG iPod disable internet connection to save energy.
It only says its free, but only this tiny client app (and it is for text messaging only!) is "free". After initial use of several days, it suddenly pops up a message tellin you that it wont work unless you pay! There are lots more such services that are free for such usage and much more that are completely free indeed, so dont bother this tricky scam. Go for real free alternatives, not for a super tiny "free" client for a paid service. This is beyond ridiculous... Ive switched to Sk**e thats free for real, for a difference...
